Wellbeing is a journey more than physical health. It’s how we connect with ourselves, others and the world around us, and we all do this differently. That’s where the name "Fit to Balance" comes from: fitting life around your mind and your body, whichever way balance looks for you.
How I can help
Fit your mind. Balance your life.

Fitting in can be tricky, whether it’s an outfit, a workplace or a family gathering. Sometimes we spend so much time trying to fit in that we lose sight of ourselves.

Fitting in can be tricky, whether it’s an outfit, a workplace or a family gathering. Sometimes we spend so much time trying to fit in that we lose sight of ourselves.
I spent my first 30 years learning through trial and error, and it was a wild ride. Now I bring lived experience, neuro-spicy curiosity and years of study and professional training to our sessions. I enjoy sitting with people in the space between what was, what is and what could be.
Anxiety, people-pleasing, procrastination, big emotions, grief, injured, itchy for change or feeling stuck: we all have our stories.
Life isn’t just about fitting in. It’s about finding what fits you. Your language, your behaviour and yes, that outfit too!

A space to be yourself, with no pressure to change.
Trauma-informed counselling for grief, anxiety, relationships, dissatisfied and feeling disconnected, at a pace that suits you.
are some of the techniques we may work with depending on your journey.

Move your body. Maintain or Build strength.
Master Trainer with 15+ years in sport and personal experience of injury and rehabilitation. I offer coaching and core and stretch training to build realistic habits that support your body.
coaching supports, doesn’t replace, medical or physiotherapeutic care

A gentle, body-based approach with less reliance on words. Kinesiology as a complementary practice, going at whatever pace feels right for you.
What a session may include
Explore stress, sensations and body awareness.
Your first session is a relaxed conversation. We talk about what brings you here and what you’d like from our time together, and there’s no pressure to share more than you want to. From there we work at your pace, using the approach that suits you best, whether that’s talking, coaching, or body-based work.
You can bring whatever is on your mind. What you share is private, with a few exceptions required by law or if there’s a risk of serious harm to you or someone else. I’ll explain this at the start. I’m not a crisis service, so if you need urgent help, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or 000 in an emergency.
Once your booking is made, I’ll email you a short pre-session questionnaire to fill in. Beyond that, you don’t need to prepare anything. If it helps, think about what you’d like from our time together, but it’s fine to arrive without a plan - we can fill the forms in together if you would prefer.
For in-person sessions, wear comfortable clothing, especially for kinesiology or movement-based work. For online sessions, choose a private spot with a stable connection.
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute Introductory chat. Finding the right fit matters, and it’s fine if it isn’t me.
Kinesiology is a body-based approach with less reliance on words. It draws on the idea of a “subtle anatomy”, including the organs and meridians, and how they relate to different parts of life such as ourselves, other people and situations. Using muscle testing, we explore how stress and past experiences may be showing up in the body, and what might help you feel more at ease. It sits alongside Western anatomy and psychology, and it’s complementary, so it works with medical care rather than replacing it.
Yes. My coaching starts with the body, looking at how you move, including alignment and gait, and then builds realistic habits and mindset around your work and life. I take injuries and rehabilitation needs into account, and I work alongside your doctor or physio rather than replacing them. I bring training in coaching and psychology, plus my own experience in sport. It isn’t a standard gym program, but I’m happy to train with you at your gym.
